Join us at the World Languages Café for an exciting in-person event!

Immerse yourself in a diverse linguistic environment where you can practice a language you know or are learning. Engage in lively conversations, meet like-minded individuals interested in different cultures, enhance your fluency, and acquire useful phrases for your travels. Whether you're a beginner or a language enthusiast, this event is for you!

Our World Languages Café gatherings take place monthly on the fourth Tuesday from 7-9pm at the 50+ Center of the East Columbia Library (6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia). Choose a language table hosted by a native speaker and enjoy interactive discussions. Languages offered include American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring food and beverages, and share cultural treats with your tablemates.
