EVENT DETAILS

Join us online for a virtual language exchange event. Given the current pandemic, we have transitioned our live language exchange to a virtual setting. The format remains the same, just without the in-person interaction.

Upon ticket purchase, you will receive the Event ID and Password via email.

We will set up private breakout rooms for different languages and assign attendees accordingly. Polyglots can move between breakout rooms as they wish.

In light of the crisis affecting the restaurant industry, we aim to support our past venues, Johnny Pistolas and Recessions, by donating a portion of the proceeds.

Feel free to bring your own beverage, alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

All languages are welcome, though we cannot guarantee a partner for every language exchange request.

Event Rules:

1. Upon logging in, you will be directed to your designated breakout room.

2. Respect your fellow participants and allow everyone a chance to engage with others.

3. Assist others in their language learning journey and be accommodating.

4. If you do not speak the required language, please move on to another participant.

5. Organizers reserve the right to remove rude or aggressive members from the group.

6. Avoid commenting in the chat box to prevent unnecessary notifications; direct questions to the organizers instead.

7. We strictly prohibit solicitation during the event; contact us at vincent for collaboration inquiries.

8. Embrace your local languages and engage with our diplomats from various countries eager to practice.

Payment Instructions:

1. Log in from a PC to access the 'Pay Now' button after RSVPing, then proceed with payment.

2. Ensure the correct dollar amount for the number of attendees before making payment.

3. If you do not have a Paypal account, choose "Pay with a Debit or Credit Card."

4. Pay seamlessly through your Paypal account by logging in as usual.

Refund & Ticket Resell Policy

All sales are final, with full refunds only in case of event cancellation. Rescheduled events will be communicated via email, with refunds available to those unable to attend the new date if notified within 2 days. Ticket resale is allowed; inform the organizer of the new attendee's full name at least two hours before the event's RSVP close time.
