Join us for an exciting in-person language and cultural exchange event at the World Languages Café!

Experience the joy of conversing in a language you know or are learning, in a welcoming environment where you can meet like-minded individuals interested in diverse cultures. Improve your language skills through active conversation, learn useful phrases for travel, and reconnect with your heritage language.

Our monthly World Languages Café gatherings take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm at the 50+ Center of the East Columbia Library (6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia). Choose your language table from a variety of options hosted by native speakers, including American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, Chinese - Cantonese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring food and drinks, and share cultural treats with your tablemates.
