Join us for an immersive language experience at the World Languages Café, now back in person!

At the World Languages Café, you can converse in a language you know or are learning, connect with others who share a passion for different cultures, and enhance your language skills in a welcoming environment. Whether you want to practice speaking, learn useful phrases for travel, or simply enjoy the cultural exchange, this event is for you.

Our monthly gatherings take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm at the 50+ Center of the East Columbia Library (6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia). Choose a language table hosted by a native speaker, featuring languages such as American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, French, Spanish, and many more.

Children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult, and attendees are encouraged to bring food and beverages to share with their table. Interested in hosting a language table or finding out more about specific language availability? Contact Jun at 240-544-7230 or vincent.
