Join us for an immersive language experience at the World Languages Café!

Experience the joy of conversing in different languages, meeting like-minded individuals, and exploring diverse cultures. Enhance your language skills in a welcoming environment where you can practice speaking, listening, and learning useful phrases for your travels.

Our monthly World Languages Café gatherings take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm at the 50+ Center of the East Columbia Library (6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia). Choose a language table hosted by a native speaker and engage in stimulating conversations. Languages offered include American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, Chinese - Cantonese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring food, beverages, and cultural treats to share with your table mates.
