Secure your spot for the upcoming Language Exchange Happy Hour AND Friending event on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 7:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have limited spots available, so make sure to get your ticket early.

ABOUT THE EVENT

After a hiatus last year, we are thrilled to bring back this popular event, although in a smaller format. Join us for an evening of language exchange and making new friends. We all share a love for languages, diverse cultures, and international experiences.

HOW IT WORKS: Attendees will be assigned to tables based on their preferred language. We welcome participants of all languages, but we cannot guarantee a partner for every language. Following a formal session, we will rotate attendees between tables, allowing everyone to meet and connect. English will serve as our Lingua Franca during this session, providing an opportunity to meet potential friends, buddies, or even partners-in-crime for various activities like biking, hiking, skiing, and traveling. Whether you're new in town or not, this event is perfect for expanding your social circle.

By popular demand, we are reintroducing the Students/Teetotalers Ticket. If you're between 18 and 21 years old, this ticket is tailored for you.

Ticket price includes:

OPTION #1: A Taco AND Rail Drinks/House Wine/House Beer. Cash Bar will be available afterwards. Be sure to try our signature drink, the Mer-Tini.

OPTION #2: TWO TACOS AND NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. This option is exclusively for students under the legal drinking age and teetotalers. Please note that the ticket price is subject to increases like other ticket types. Cash Bar will be available afterwards.

Rules to follow:

1. Event is for attendees aged 21 and above. Don't forget to bring your ID.
2. Respect your language exchange partners and give everyone a chance to engage with others.
3. As native speakers, be open to helping others and accommodating their language learning needs.
4. If you don't speak the language requested by another person, please respect their choice and move on.
5. Rude or aggressive behavior will result in removal from the event at the organizer's discretion.
6. This is an in-person language exchange event. Please refrain from arranging online meetings in the comment box or through direct messages.
7. Avoid writing in the comment box as it sends notifications to all attendees. If you have questions, message the organizers directly.
8. We have a strict policy against solicitation. The event is not a platform for self-promotion or personal agendas. If you're interested in promoting, sponsoring, or collaborating, contact us at vincent.
9. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and guide you to your designated group.
10. Embrace the opportunity to practice your local languages. We have diplomats assigned to different countries who are eager to engage with you.
11. Please be patient for the first 30 minutes while we wait for all language speakers to arrive and assign tables.

Payment Instructions:

1. Log in and click the 'Pay Now' button after RSVPing. Then proceed to the next page.

2. Verify the correct dollar amount for the number of people you're paying for.

3. If you don't have a Paypal account, scroll down on the next page and click "Pay with a Debit or Credit Card." Make sure to turn off the button that says "Save The Info and Create Your Paypal Account."

4. If you have a Paypal account, simply log in and proceed with the payment.

Refund & Ticket Resell

All sales are final. Full refunds will only be issued in case of event cancellation. If the event is rescheduled, ticket holders will receive an email notification. If you're unable to attend the rescheduled date, please inform us within 2 calendar days of the update email to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given after this time.
