Join us at Zorba's Cafe near Dupont Circle on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 5:30 PM! We will be gathering on the 2nd floor of the cafe, and if the weather permits, we will also have a table outside on the street. In case you don't find anyone on the 2nd floor, simply look for us at the table outside.

Dear group members! For those who haven't attended our meetups before, we usually have fewer people RSVP than those who actually come to the event. Our regular attendees are used to not RSVPing and just showing up anytime between 5:30 PM and 8 PM. So don't hesitate, RSVP and join us!

We are excited to return to our old venue, Zorba's Cafe, where we used to gather for many years. Come and join us on the 2nd floor of the cafe.

The venue is conveniently located near the Metro Dupont Circle station. This is the same place where we used to meet every Thursday evening before 2015.

Everyone is welcome to join us, but please keep the conversation in Russian only. This is a great opportunity for all of us to practice our Russian. Plus, there are happy hour prices available.

Timing: Usually, someone is already there by 5:30 PM, but sometimes the organizers may arrive a bit later, around 5:45 PM. If you happen to be the first one to arrive, please wait for us, we will definitely be there! We usually stay until at least 8 PM, so if you can't make it at the beginning, feel free to arrive late.

RSVP's: We encourage you to RSVP, but please note that many people don't. So even if it seems like only a few people are planning to attend, rest assured that we usually have a good-sized and fun group! (And there are usually newcomers as well, so if it's your first time, you won't be the only one.)

Also, when the weather is nice, we often sit outside. So if you don't find anyone on the second floor, just look for the group speaking Russian at the tables on the street.

And remember, we have had instances where only 3 or 4 people RSVPed but we ended up with around 15 attendees. So don't worry about the numbers.
