ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us for the Language Exchange Happy Hour AND Friending event on Wed, Nov 15, 2023, at 7:00 PM. Due to restrictions, we have limited spots available, so be sure to secure your ticket in advance.

During this unique event, we aim to connect individuals from various linguistic backgrounds, cultures, and countries. Whether you are a language enthusiast, a traveler, or simply someone interested in meeting new people, this event is perfect for you.

HOW IT WORKS: Attendees will be assigned to tables based on their represented languages. While we welcome all languages, we cannot guarantee a partner for every language exchange. After the formal session, attendees will rotate tables, giving everyone the opportunity to meet and connect with each other. The Lingua Franca for this session will be English.

In addition to language exchange, this event is an ideal opportunity to make new friends, find acquaintances, or even potential partners-in-crime for various activities such as biking, hiking, skiing, traveling, and more. Whether you are new in town or a local, you are welcome to join us.

The ticket price includes a Quesadilla/Taco and your choice of House Margarita, House Wine, or House Beer. Please note that the bar operates on a cash basis.

Rules to abide by:

1. The event is strictly for individuals aged 21 and above. Please bring your ID for verification.
2. Show respect to your counterparts and allow them the opportunity to interact with others as well.
3. As native speakers, be willing to help others and accommodate their language needs as much as possible.
4. If you do not speak the required language of the other person, please give them space and do not disturb them.
5. Rude or aggressive behavior will result in removal from the group at the discretion of the organizers.
6. This is a face-to-face language exchange event. Online meetings arranged through the comment box or direct message are not permitted.
7. If you have any questions, please message the organizers directly instead of writing them in the comment box. Writing in the comment box sends notifications to all attendees.
8. We have a strict policy against solicitation. Running personal agendas at the event is not allowed. If you are interested in promoting, sponsoring, or collaborating, please contact us at vincent.
9. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and guide you to your designated group.
10. Do not hesitate to showcase your local languages. We have representatives from different countries who would love to practice with you.

Refund & Ticket Resell

All ticket sales are final. Full refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled. In the case of rescheduling, an email will be sent to ticket holders with the updated date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you must notify us within 2 calendar days of receiving the update email to be eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be given after this time.
