About the Event

After a hiatus last year, we are thrilled to bring back our Language Exchange Happy Hour AND Friending Dinner event. While we may have limited spots available due to ongoing restrictions, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for language enthusiasts to connect and make new friends. Whether you speak multiple languages, have traveled extensively, or simply appreciate different cultures, this event is for you.

How It Works

During the event, we will assign tables for each represented language and direct attendees accordingly. All languages are welcome, but please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of a partner in your desired language for language exchange. After the formal session, we will rotate attendees from table to table, ensuring everyone has the chance to meet and interact with each other. The lingua franca for this session will be English, allowing you to connect with potential friends, acquaintances, and partners-in-crime who share similar interests such as biking, hiking, skiing, traveling, and more. Whether you are new in town or a long-time resident, this event offers an ideal platform for building connections.

Ticket Information

The ticket price includes a delicious Taco and your choice of a House Margarita, House Wine, or House Beer. Please note that the bar will operate on a cash basis after the initial drink. Don't miss out on our featured cocktail, the Mer-Tini. Ask your bartenders for details.

Rules to Abide

1. This event is for individuals aged 21 and above. Please bring your ID for verification.
2. Be respectful to others and give everyone a chance to engage in language exchange.
3. As native speakers, please be willing to help others and accommodate their language learning needs.
4. If you do not speak the required language of another person, kindly allow them to connect with someone who can.
5. Rude or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event at the organizer's discretion.
6. This is an in-person language exchange event. Please refrain from arranging online meetings through the comment box or direct messages.
7. If you have any questions, please message the organizers directly instead of using the comment box, as it sends notifications to all attendees.
8. We have a zero-tolerance policy for solicitation. Running personal agendas or promoting external interests is not permitted at the event. For promotional or collaborative opportunities, please contact us at vincent.
9. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and guide you to your assigned group.
10. Don't hesitate to use your local languages. We have diplomats assigned to different countries who would love to practice with you.

Refund & Ticket Resell

All ticket sales are final. In the event of cancellation, we will provide a full refund. If the event is rescheduled, we will notify those who RSVPed 'YES' via email. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, please inform us within 2 calendar days of receiving the update email to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given after that time.
