Welcome to our Language Exchange Happy Hour and Friending event! This event used to attract hundreds of people every week, but due to recent circumstances, we have downsized and limited the number of attendees. However, we still aim to provide a great opportunity for language exchange and making new friends.

During the lockdowns and confinements of the past year, many of us lost touch with old friends and struggled to make new connections. That's why we've introduced the Friending part of our event. We believe that despite our different languages, cultures, and travel experiences, we all share a common international mindset.

Here's how it works: we will assign tables for each represented language and direct attendees accordingly. All languages are welcome, but we cannot guarantee a partner for your desired language exchange. After the formal session, we will rotate attendees from table to table to ensure everyone gets a chance to meet and connect. During this session, we will use English as our lingua franca.

Join us and meet potential friends, buddies, or even partners-in-crime! Whether you're looking for someone to hang out, go biking, hiking, skiing, or travel with, this event is perfect for you. It's also a great opportunity if you're new in town!

The ticket price includes a Quesadilla or Taco and your choice of a House Margarita, House Wine, or House Beer. We also have a cash bar available for additional purchases.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable event, we kindly ask all attendees to abide by the following rules:

1. You must be 21 years old or above and bring a valid ID.
2. Be respectful to your language exchange partners and allow them to connect with others as well.
3. As native speakers, be willing to help others and accommodate their language learning needs.
4. If you don't speak the required language of another person, please give them the space to connect with someone who does.
5. Rude or aggressive behavior will result in removal from the event at the discretion of the organizers.
6. This is a face-to-face language exchange event. Please refrain from organizing online meetings through the comment box or direct messages.
7. If you have any questions, please message the organizers instead of writing in the comment box, as it sends notifications to all attendees.
8. We have a zero-tolerance policy for solicitation. This event is not a platform for promoting personal agendas. If you are interested in promotion, sponsorship, or collaboration, please contact us at vincent.
9. Upon arrival, our friendly team will greet you and guide you to your respective language group.
10. Don't hesitate to use your local languages. We have diplomats assigned to different countries who would love to practice with you.

Refund & Ticket Resell

All ticket sales are final. Full refunds will only be issued in the event of cancellation. If the event is rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified via email. Those who are unable to attend the new date can request a full refund by notifying us within 2 calendar days of receiving the update email. No refunds will be given after that time.
