Join us at Zorba's Cafe near Dupont Circle for a delightful evening of language and culture every Thursday! We'll be gathering on the second floor of the cafe, unless the weather permits us to enjoy the outdoors at a table on the street.

Attention group members! If you haven't attended our meetups before, don't worry about the low number of RSVPs. Our regular attendees are accustomed to simply showing up between 5:30 PM and 8 PM without signing up in advance. Feel free to join us by RSVPing!

We're returning to the old venue, Zorba's Cafe, where we used to meet for years. Come and find us on the second floor.

Location: 1612 20th St NW, Washington, DC 20009. Conveniently close to Metro Dupont Circle station. This is the spot where we gathered every Thursday evening before 2015.

All language enthusiasts are welcome, but please keep the conversation in Russian only. This is a great opportunity for everyone to practice their Russian skills. Plus, enjoy the happy hour prices!

Timing: We usually have someone there by 5:30 PM, but sometimes the organizers arrive around 5:45 PM. If you're the first to arrive, please wait for us - we'll be there! Most people stick around until at least 8 PM, so feel free to join us even if you can't make it right at the beginning.

RSVPs: We encourage you to RSVP, although many attendees don't. So it may seem like only a few people are coming, but rest assured, we usually have a vibrant and lively group! (And we often have newcomers too, so if it's your first time, you won't be alone.)

When the weather is pleasant, we often sit outside. If you don't see anyone on the second floor, just look for the group conversing in Russian at the tables on the street.

And once again, we've had instances where only a handful of people RSVP, but then 15 or more show up. So don't worry about that.
