Join us at Zorba's Cafe near Dupont Circle every Thursday! We'll be gathering on the 2nd floor, or if the weather permits, outside at a table in the street. If you don't find anyone on the 2nd floor, look for us outside.

Dear group members! For those who haven't attended our meetups before - the number of RSVPs is usually lower than the actual turnout. Regular attendees are used to not RSVPing and simply show up anytime between 5:30 and 8:00 PM. So feel free to RSVP!

Welcome back to our classic venue! Zorba's Cafe has been our meeting place for many years. Join us on the 2nd floor.

1612 20th St NW, Washington, DC 20009

This location is conveniently close to the Dupont Circle Metro station. It's the same place where we used to gather every Thursday evening before 2015.

Everyone is invited, but please keep the conversations in Russian only. This is a great opportunity for all of us to practice the language. Plus, there are happy hour prices available!

Timing: We usually have someone there by 5:30 PM, but sometimes the organizers arrive around 5:45 PM. If you arrive early, please wait - we'll be there! People usually stay until at least 8:00 PM, so it's perfectly fine to arrive late if you can't make it right at the beginning.

RSVPs: It's encouraged to RSVP, but many people don't. So don't worry if it seems like only a few people are attending. We usually have a good-sized and fun group! (And there are usually newcomers too, so if it's your first time, you won't be the only one.)

Also, when the weather is nice, we often sit outdoors. If you don't find anyone on the second floor, just look for the group speaking Russian at tables outside on the street.

And just to reiterate - we've had instances where only 3 or 4 people RSVP, but around 15 people show up. So don't worry about that.
See you there!
