Join us for an exciting in-person event - In-person Conversation & Culture at Howard County Library Miller Branch on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 7:00 PM.

Experience the revival of the World Languages Café, a vibrant gathering where language enthusiasts and learners can engage in friendly conversations, discover diverse cultures, enhance fluency, and reminisce about childhood languages.

Held monthly throughout the year, the World Languages Café welcomes participants on the second Thursday of each month from 7-9pm at the Howard County Library Miller Branch. Choose a language table of your choice, led by native speakers, and dive into discussions. Our language options include American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, Chinese - Cantonese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Please note that children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring your favorite food and beverages, and you're welcome to share treats from your culture with your tablemates.
