Join us for an exciting in-person event - the World Languages Café at the Howard County Library Miller Branch on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 7:00 PM.

The World Languages Café is the perfect place to engage in conversations and immerse yourself in different cultures. Whether you're fluent in a language or just starting to learn, this friendly atmosphere provides an opportunity to practice and enhance your speaking and listening skills. You'll also have the chance to meet like-minded individuals who share a passion for language learning and discover useful phrases for your future travels.

Our monthly World Languages Café is held year-round, specifically on the second Thursday of each month. Join us at the Howard County Library Miller Branch from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and choose the language table that interests you the most. Each table is hosted by a native speaker who will guide and facilitate conversations. We offer a diverse range of languages, including American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

Please note that children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring your favorite food and beverages, and don't hesitate to share treats from your culture with your tablemates.
