Sweetwater Summit Hike + Optional Lunch at Graciela's Taco Shop, Sat, Feb 17, 2024, 9:00 AM

Join us for an exciting 7-mile hike in the stunning South Bay area, offering breathtaking views of the picturesque Sweetwater Reservoir. This hidden gem is best explored during late winter and early spring when the landscape transforms into a lush green paradise, reminiscent of the beautiful Irish countryside.

The hike is suitable for all skill levels, with the exception of the "Cardiac Trail" leading to the summit. Don't worry, it's short! Once we conquer the summit, we'll take some memorable photos against the backdrop of the reservoir before continuing our hike to Sweetwater Summit Regional Park. We'll take a well-deserved break there, with restroom facilities available, and then proceed to hike through the park, crossing a charming bridge over the 125 freeway before making our way back.

Once we've completed the invigorating hike, it's time to satisfy our appetites with a delicious lunch or brunch at Graciela's Taco Shop, conveniently located behind Starbucks. Don't forget to bring at least one liter of water and a snack (optional) to keep you energized throughout the hike.
