FULL MOON POTLUCK PICNIC BONFIRE! Mission Bay DANCING Music - Dancing! Karaoke!, Fri, Nov 24, 2023, ...

Join us for a spectacular evening under the full moon! Experience the joy of dancing to lively music, surrounded by a friendly crowd of karaoke singers and dancers. And of course, enjoy delicious food at our potluck picnic bonfire on Friday, November 24th at 4:00 PM.

To attend the bonfire, please RSVP on our website and upload a real photo of yourself along with your first name. Don't forget to mention the specific dish you'll be bringing to the potluck!

If possible, please bring dry firewood to help fuel the bonfire. You can store some in your car or check the free section on Craigslist for firewood in your area. We're also looking for talented karaoke singers to join us. Don't forget to bring water and cold sodas for refreshment!

Dress comfortably for what promises to be a beautiful day and possibly cool evening. Remember to bring your beach chairs and any additional dry firewood you can contribute.

Please note that alcohol and glass bottles are not allowed on City beaches. Let's celebrate with our international and local friends from various Meetup groups in a responsible and enjoyable way!

For the potluck, we recommend bringing main courses or big entrees. Choose something that you would personally enjoy, so you can be sure it will be there. If you're bringing pre-cooked food, consider bringing a portable BBQ and fuel to cook it. Cutting everything into small pieces is ideal!

If you need some inspiration, you can plan a dish that you love or stop by Costco to pick up a party tray or their delicious rolled turkey sandwiches and chicken tenders. Large fresh pizzas or cases of cold sodas and water bottles are also great options!

Remember, no alcohol or glass is allowed on City beaches, as authorities may conduct checks. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time!

The potluck will officially start at 4:00 PM, but feel free to come early for the best parking spots and to engage in some games or take a leisurely walk along the beautiful Mission Bay.

Look for Steve, who will be there early to secure the double picnic tables closest to the fire ring. To find us, walk along the sidewalk to the North-West end and locate the double picnic tables near the fire ring.

Directions: If you're coming from the North on H-5, take the Clairemont Dr offramp and turn West. Cross over H-5 and then turn right onto E Mission Bay Dr. Continue until you reach De Anza Rd.

If you're coming from the South on H-5, you can take the Balboa/MBayDr offramp. If there's heavy traffic, continue South on H-5 to the Clairemont Dr turn off. Proceed straight on Mission Bay Dr, passing six stoplights before taking a sharp right turn just before re-entering H-5 South. Merge quickly onto N Mission Bay Dr, then turn right at the stop sign and head North to De Anza Rd.

If you miss the sharp right turn and end up on H-5 South, no worries! Simply take the next offramp, Clairemont Dr, and get onto E Mission Bay Dr heading North until you reach De Anza Rd.

If possible, please bring some dry firewood. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated!
