Hello everyone! Starting May 8th, Monday evenings will be at Curlers and Thursdays evenings at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. Join us upstairs, turn right, and look for us at the table in the far left corner by the window. At Tennent's, enter from Byres Rd, turn left, and find us at one of the tables by the windows!

FAQs

What level is required to attend?
The group welcomes everyone, from beginners to natives. Having some conversational ability is beneficial, but all are welcome to join!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is that okay?
The group is laid-back, usually staying for a few hours, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one's there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person is signed up?
While the RSVP count may be low on the event page, there are usually around 10-15 regular attendees.

If you want to practice and enhance your Spanish or English skills, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and occasionally none, but there will always be friendly people to give you a warm welcome. Find us at the top of the stairs where we'll be sitting on the long benches. We look forward to meeting you and chatting in Spanish and English.

We begin with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure each language gets equal time and fun topics to keep the conversation lively. We are excited to see our regulars and extend a warm welcome to new members.
