Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday gatherings will be held upstairs at Curlers, and Thursdays will be at Tennent's!

When you arrive at Tennent's from the Byres Rd entrance, you'll find the two tables on the left reserved for our group.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is needed to participate?
Our group welcomes everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Even a basic conversational ability is helpful to engage with the group!

If I can't make it at exactly 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
Our gatherings are very casual, usually lasting for a few hours. Feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person has RSVP'd, will the event still take place?
Although the event page may show only a few RSVPs, we typically have a regular group of 10-15 attendees.

Join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays to practice and improve your Spanish or English. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but you'll always find friendly people ready to give you a warm welcome. Look for us at the top of the stairs where we'll be seated on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat with you in Spanish and English.

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure each language receives equal time and explore fun topics to keep the conversation going. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a special welcome to new members.
