Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday evenings will be held at Curlers and Thursdays evenings at Tennent's!

Upon entering Tennent's from the Byres Rd entrance, you can find the 2 reserved tables on the left.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to attend?
The group is inclusive of all levels, from beginners to native speakers. Having some conversational ability is beneficial, but all are welcome!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is it a problem?
The group is very casual, usually lasting for a few hours, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it a bit of time for others to arrive!

What if only one person has signed up, will the event still happen?
Despite the RSVP numbers on the event page, we typically have a regular attendance of around 10-15 people.

If you're looking to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7pm on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and occasionally none, but there will always be friendly people to give you a warm welcome. You can find us at the top of the stairs where we'll be seated on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat with you in Spanish and English.

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure both languages receive equal time and to introduce fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a warm welcome to new members.
