Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday evenings will be at Curlers, and Thursdays will be at Tennent's!

Upon entering Tennent's from the Byres Rd entrance, you'll find the two reserved tables on the left.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to join?
The group is open to everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Having some conversational ability will enhance your experience!

If I can't make it at exactly 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
The group is very casual, and we usually stay for a few hours, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person has signed up?
Even if the event page shows only a few RSVPs, we usually have a regular group of 10-15 attendees.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but there will always be friendly people to give you a warm welcome. You can find us at the top of the stairs where we'll be seated on the long benches. We look forward to meeting you and chatting in Spanish and English.

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure each language gets equal time and engaging topics to keep the conversations flowing. We're excited to see our regular members and extend a warm welcome to new participants.
