Hola a todos! Starting from May 8th, join us on Monday evenings at Curlers and Thursdays at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. Look for us upstairs, usually at the table in the far left corner by the window. At Tennent's, head in from Byres Rd, turn left, and you'll find us at one of the tables by the windows!

FAQs

What level is required to participate?
All levels are welcome, from beginners to native speakers. Even a basic conversational ability is helpful to join in!

If I can't make it right at 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
The atmosphere is relaxed, so feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one's there yet, give it some time as people tend to arrive within 15-20 minutes!

What if only one person has signed up?
Don't worry if the RSVP count is low, we usually have a group of around 10-15 regular attendees.

If you're looking to practice and improve your Spanish or English, come join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7 pm on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and occasionally none, but you'll always be warmly welcomed by friendly people. Find us at the top of the stairs, sitting on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat in Spanish and English.

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure both languages get equal time and engaging topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a special welcome to new members.
