Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, 8th May, join us upstairs at Curlers on Mondays and at Tennent's on Thursdays!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. Look for us upstairs on the far left corner by the window. At Tennent's, we usually gather at the tables by the windows on Byres Rd!

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to attend?
Our group welcomes everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Even a basic conversational ability is helpful to participate!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is it a problem?
Our gatherings are very relaxed. Feel free to join us whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person is signed up for the event?
Don't worry if the RSVP count is low. Typically, we have a regular group of 10-15 attendees.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but you will always be warmly welcomed by friendly people. Find us at the top of the stairs where we'll be sitting on the long benches. We look forward to meeting you and chatting in Spanish and English.

We begin with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure both languages receive equal time and engage in interesting topics to keep the conversation flowing. We are excited to see our regular members and extend a warm welcome to newcomers.
