Greetings to all! Starting from May 8th, Monday evenings will be held at Curlers, and Thursdays will be hosted at Tennent's!

When you arrive at Tennent's through the Byres Rd entrance, you'll find the 2 reserved tables on the left.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to join?
All are welcome, from beginners to native speakers. Having some conversational ability will enhance your experience!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is it a problem?
The group is relaxed, usually staying for a few hours, so join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one's there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person is signed up, will the event still happen?
Despite the RSVP count, we usually have a regular group of 10-15 attendees.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7 pm on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, sometimes none, but you'll always be warmly welcomed by friendly people. Look for us at the top of the stairs, where we'll be seated on long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat in Spanish and English.

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure equal time for each language and to introduce fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regulars and extend a warm welcome to new members.
