Welcome to the West End Intercambio English/Español meetup at Tennent's Bar on Byres Road! Join us every Monday and Thursday at 7pm for a fun and interactive language exchange session.

UPDATE: Starting from May 2023, our Monday sessions will be held upstairs at Curlers, while our Thursday sessions will take place at Tennent's Bar.

When you enter Tennent's Bar from the Byres Rd entrance, you'll find our reserved tables on the left. Look out for our friendly group!

What level is required to attend?
Our meetup is open to everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Even if you have just a little conversational ability, you're welcome to join in!

What if I can't arrive exactly at 7pm?
Don't worry! Our sessions are very informal and usually last for a few hours. Feel free to join us whenever you can make it. If you arrive at 7pm and nobody is there yet, give it some time as people may arrive within 15-20 minutes.

What if only one person has signed up?
Although the event page may show only a few RSVPs, we usually have a regular group of around 10-15 attendees. So rest assured, the meetup will still go ahead!

Si quieres practicar y mejorar tu español o inglés, únete a nosotros en The Tennent's Bar en Byres Road a las 7pm los lunes y jueves. Tenemos diferentes hosts en diferentes noches, y de vez en cuando ninguno, pero siempre habrá gente muy amable para darte una cálida bienvenida. Nos encontrarás en la parte superior de la escalera, donde estaremos sentados en los largos bancos. Estamos emocionados de conocerte y charlar contigo en español e inglés.

We start with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure equal time for each language. We may even have some fun topics to keep the conversations lively. We can't wait to see our regular members and extend a warm welcome to new participants.
