Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday evenings will be held upstairs at Curlers, and Thursday evenings at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. When you enter, head upstairs, turn right, and you'll usually find us at the table in the far left corner by the window. Alternatively, when you enter Tennent's from Byres Rd, turn left and you'll typically find us at one of the tables by the windows!

What level is required to attend?
The group is open to everyone, from beginners to native speakers. However, having some conversational ability will enhance your experience!

If I can't make it at exactly 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
Not at all! The group is very informal, and we usually stay for a few hours. So feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and nobody is there yet, give it about 15-20 minutes for people to arrive!

What if only one person has signed up?
Although the event page may show only 1 or 2 people RSVP'd, there are usually more regular attendees. The usual group size is around 10-15 people.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM every Monday and Thursday. We have different hosts on different nights, and occasionally none, but there will always be friendly people to give you a warm welcome. You can find us at the top of the stairs, where we'll be sitting on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat with you in Spanish and English.

We start with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' so that each language gets equal time and perhaps some fun topics to keep everyone engaged. We look forward to seeing our regular members and extending a special welcome to newcomers.
