Join us for the World Citizens Canary Wharf Expat Chats! This event is perfect for new-in-town and expats in Canary Wharf who want to connect with the international community. We provide a safe and genuine space for meaningful discussions, cultural exchange, and the opportunity to make lasting connections.

If you're new to Meetup or World Citizens, don't worry! We've been organizing events since 2012 and have a reputation for fostering a welcoming environment. Our goal is to help you feel at home in London and provide you with a platform to share your travel stories, discuss social issues, and even brainstorm ideas to change the world.

Event Details: This is an informal social gathering with a few short structured group discussions. Join us on Wednesday for an evening of engaging conversations and new friendships.

• When: Wednesday, starting at 6:30 PM
• Where: Pergola on the Wharf, Crossrail Pl, London E14 5AR
• Venue dress code: Smart casual or smart attire is preferred. Please avoid sportswear, tracksuit bottoms, hoods, caps, and flip flops.
• Closest stations: West India Quay, Canary Wharf
• Cost: Pay for your own meals or drinks
• Hosts: Our events are hosted by a rotating team, ensuring a fresh experience each time. Our regular members are also available to assist you with any basic inquiries.

Our 3 Simple Rules:

1. Be respectful and courteous. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, creepy behavior, or abuse.
2. Be present and actively participate. Engage with others, avoid using your phone excessively during the event, and refrain from interrupting or covertly selling.
3. Drink responsibly. While alcohol is available, it should not be used as an excuse for inappropriate behavior.
