Are you new to Meetup or World Citizens?

We are one of London's longest-running Meetup groups, established in 2012. Our aim is to create a safe and authentic space for the international community to connect, fostering meaningful discussions and cultural exchange.

Event Details

What: Join us for an informal social gathering with a few short structured group activities. You also have the option to participate in a leisurely walk through old parks and along the river.

When: Every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM (sometimes extending into the evening).

Where: The Chelsea Gardener Cafe, located at 125 Sydney St, London SW3 6NR.

Closest stations: Sloane Square, South Kensington.

Cost: You will be responsible for paying for your own meals or drinks.

Hosts: Our events are hosted by a rotating team, so the actual host may vary for each event.

IMPORTANT: Please note that this venue does not allow pre-booking. However, there is usually ample space available. If you arrive before our host(s), feel free to secure a large table, order a drink and some food, and start mingling. Our regular members will also be happy to assist you with this and any other basic matters.

Event Rules

1. Show respect and courtesy towards others. Harassment, creepy behavior, or any form of abuse will not be tolerated.

2. Be present and actively participate. Avoid using your phone during the event, interrupting others, or engaging in covert selling.

3. Drink responsibly. Remember that alcohol is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior.

Please also adhere to any rules set by the venue.

Waitlist and RSVP Rules

If the event is already full, we encourage you to join our waitlist. However, please do not attend until we move you to the "Going" list. While most spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, we reserve the right to move waitlisted guests to the "Going" list at our discretion. This allows us to ensure a diverse audience for each event, giving the opportunity to meet new people and gain different perspectives. As our hosts dedicate their personal time to run these events, we kindly request that you respect their decisions. Remember, you can also join our uncapped events, such as our Tuesday Social!
