Speaking Meeting

History is important. In centuries past this statement would have seemed self-evident. Ancient cultures devoted much time and effort to teaching their children family history. It was thought that the past helps a child understand who he is. Modern society, however, has turned its back on the past. We live in a time of rapid change, a time of progress. We prefer to define ourselves in terms of where we are going, not where we come from.  

Let's discuss this interesting topic on our meeting of Club this Saturday!

+ БОКУС - ЭКСУРСИЯ!!!

Запах родного города, каков он? Он не уловим и лёгок, слегка пьянит и обволакивает спокойствием и тишиной. Его не спутаешь ни с чем, не променяешь и не забудешь никогда. Он прозрачен, чист и вдохновенен. Пропитан мыслями, чувствами и поступками всех тех, кто на протяжении столетий строил его, любил и благодаря чему дух его сохранился и до наших дней». 
На нашей эксурсии мы попробуем увидеть Харьков с другой строны. Харьков купеческий, Харьков провинциальный, уютный, потрепанный временем, но сохранивший дух прошлых лет. Наша прогулка пройдет по трем улицам; Карла Маркса, Ярославская и Краснооктябрьская. Поговорим о творчестве известных Харьковчан,посмотрим интересные обекты архитектуры, поразмышляем насколько изменился наш город, что утерено, что сохраниль, что изменилось до неузноваемости или напротив стало лучше.
 
Предположительное время экскурсии 2 часа. Экскурсия будет проходить на русском языке.
