Badass Tours in collaboration with AIC invites you to uncover the tales of the immigrants who have left an indelible mark on this remarkable city.

HOW IT UNFOLDS

Badass Tours specializes in storytelling tours highlighting Amsterdam's BIPOC, Jewish, LGBTQ+, and women's history. Our aim is to illuminate the lesser-known narratives that have shaped the city's identity. Join us for storytelling events, workshops, and walking tours encompassing Women's History, Jewish History, LGBTQ+, and Hidden Gems, each exploring a different facet of our themes.

We have been commissioned by TUI and National Geographic to conduct a walking tour focusing on Amsterdam's immigration narrative and are seeking a test audience. AIC members are invited to join us at 5 pm on Tuesday, April 16th. If you participated in the trial run featuring the same stories but on a different route on March 15th, you are welcome to join this tour as well, albeit with the stories presented in a different sequence.

The tour commences outside the Jewish Museum and concludes near OBA Oosterdok. Traverse the canal belt and medieval center while immersing yourself in the narratives of the immigrants who have influenced Amsterdam.
To incentivize registered participants, a nominal registration fee of 5.5 euros is requested. Rest assured, after the event, 5 euros will be refunded to you (with 0.50 euros retained as a service fee).

Upon registration, you will receive a link to a dedicated WhatsApp group to stay informed about updates and meeting points, facilitating communication with other participants.

MEETING POINT
The tour begins outside the Jewish Museum and concludes near OBA Oosterdok.

To confirm your attendance and promote participation, a registration fee of 5.5 euros is requested. Following the event, a refund of 5 euros will be issued (0.50 euros retained as a service fee). Please note that non-attendance will not result in a refund of the registration fee.
