Dear Adventurers,

Join Dana and a group of fellow explorers as we embark on a journey to Haarlem, Netherlands. This one-day trip is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history, culture, and breathtaking scenery of a new city. The highlight of this December adventure is a visit to the renowned Haarlem Christmas Market.

WHEN
Sunday, December 10th, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM

WHERE
We will meet at Amsterdam Central Station - IJhal, next to Starbucks. Look for the orange square on the map to find Dana and the group. (Map below)

Tickets & AIC Card:

• Regular ticket: 15€ (includes train ticket) (12€ with AIC CARD. Get your AIC Card here)
• Without tickets: 5€ (FREE with AIC CARD) if you bring your own train ticket
• Tickets do not include food or drinks
• Tickets do not include local transportation
• Tickets are non-refundable
• Tickets are not transferable

How It Works

We will gather at 11:30 AM sharp. Remember, we have a train to catch!
Transportation: NS Train, 2nd class from Amsterdam Central to Haarlem
Upon arrival, we will take a short walk from the train station to Haarlem City Center. We will have lunch and then explore the city on foot. One of the highlights is a visit to the famous Jopenkerk Haarlem, a brewery located in a church. In the afternoon, we will immerse ourselves in the Christmas Market, adorned with festive lights and decorations. You will have free time for shopping and to enjoy a glass of gluhwein (mulled wine). We will regroup at the train station to return to Amsterdam, with the train departing around 6:30 PM.
This trip is limited to 20 participants and requires a minimum of 6 attendees. If the minimum number is not reached 24 hours before the event, we will cancel and provide a full refund.
Reservations will close on December 9th at 1:00 PM.
AIC will purchase the train tickets in advance. Each ticket is individual.
Please bring a valid photo ID (passport, identity card, or driving license) as the ticket controller will verify its correspondence with the ticket.

We will also create a Whatsapp group for the participants to stay in touch. Upon reservation, we will send you an invitation link to join the group.
