In Jamaican households, Sunday dinner holds a special place. It's a meal that showcases the love and effort put into preparing a feast for family, friends, and neighbors. At Ash's Plek, Sunday dinner is a chilled affair, with two courses served in sharing bowls, allowing guests to enjoy as much or as little as they desire.

On the menu:

To Start
Choose between Ackee and saltfish with Jamaican dumplings or Ackee and sweet peppers with Jamaican dumplings (vegan).

About the dish
Sautéed white onions, garlic, sweet peppers, tomatoes, spring onions, and thyme mixed with flakes of cod fish (or sweet peppers for the vegan version) and topped with creamy ackee. Served with Jamaican fried dumplings.

Main
Select either Jamaican chicken curry or Jamaican red lentil curry.

About the dish
Chicken marinated for 48 hours in a blend of aromatic spices (or red lentils) and then cooked with Jamaican curry powder. Served with steamed white rice and Jamaican coleslaw.
