Join us on an unforgettable one-day trip to The Hague in the Netherlands! Embark on an exciting journey with Dana and a group of fellow explorers to discover the city's rich history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking scenery. Be prepared to be amazed by iconic attractions such as the Mauritshuis Museum, the enchanting City Center, the charming Scheveningen Beach, and more.

Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 9:15 AM to 6:30 PM

WHERE

Meeting Point: Amsterdam Central Station - IJhal, next to Starbucks. Please meet Dana at the orange square marked on the map.

Tickets & AIC Card:

• Train ticket + Museum ticket: €51 (€49 with AIC CARD)
• Without tickets: €5 (FREE with AIC CARD) - You will need to arrange your own train ticket and museum ticket or use the Museum Card.
• Local transport is not included in the tickets.
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

How it works

We will meet at 9:15 AM sharp. Please note that we have a train to catch!

Transportation: NS Train, 2nd class from Amsterdam Central to The Hague

Upon arrival, we will take a short walk from the train station to visit the Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery, where you can admire masterpieces by renowned artists such as Vermeer, Rembrandt, Rubens, and Jan Steen. After the museum visit, we will explore the city center and enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Feel free to bring your own lunch or try something different. Following that, we will continue our adventure by strolling through the city center, discovering its hidden gems, and then proceed to another part of The Hague. Here, you have two options: Option 1 is to relax at Scheveningen Beach, take a leisurely walk, enjoy a coffee at a terrace, and experience the SkyView de Pier's big wheel; Option 2 is to visit the famous miniature theme park, Madurodam, which showcases 1:25 scale replicas of Dutch landmarks, historical cities, and large developments. We will all meet again at the train station to return to Amsterdam. The train will depart around 5-5:30 PM.

Please note that the trip is limited to 20 participants. Reservations will close on September 29th at 1:00 PM.

AIC will purchase the train tickets in advance. Each ticket is individual. Please bring a valid photo ID (passport, identity card, or driving license) as the controller will check the correspondence between the ticket and your identification document.
