Join us for an unforgettable language exchange trip from Bangkok to Penang, Malaysia!

Experience the thrill of a train journey as we embark on Train No. 45 from Bangkok to the Thai-Malaysia Border. From there, we will switch to a Malaysian KTM Kommuter service for the final leg of the trip to Penang. Though the journey may be long, lasting around 20++ hours, it will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.

Here's a rough itinerary of our adventure:

• Day 1: Depart from Bangkok on an overnight train (3:00 PM) and arrive at Padang Besar in the morning (10:00 AM).
• Day 2: Explore Padang Besar and take the train to Butterworth Railway Station. Then, hop on a ferry to Penang and settle into our hotel.
• Day 3: Spend the entire day exploring Penang and its iconic attractions like Penang Hill, Chew Jetty, Penang Street Art, Penang National Park, and Kek Lok Si Temple.
• Day 4: Continue exploring Penang before returning to Bangkok via Thai AirAsia flight FD 322 (6:55 PM - 7:25 PM).

Important details to note before RSVP:

1. This is not a guided tour. Please ensure you have the necessary entry visa and reentry conditions for both Thailand and Malaysia.
2. Admission fee: 1,000 Baht. This covers transportation (overnight train ticket from Bangkok to Padang Besar), sharing snacks, and meetup costs. Payment is required to confirm your reservation.
3. Exclusions: Train ticket from Padang Besar to Butterworth, ferry to Penang, local transportation in Penang, museum or park tickets, hotel, food, personal expenses, and airplane ticket back to Bangkok. Participants are responsible for these additional expenses.
