Join us for a unique and immersive cultural hiking experience in the beautiful valleys of Girona: Vall d'en Bas (La Garrotxa) and Vall de Llémena (Gironès).

During the day, we will visit picturesque villages such as Els Hostalets d'en Bas, Sant Feliu de Pallerols, Amer, and Sant Martí de Llémena, and enjoy a pleasant and easy walk suitable for all in Vall de Llémena.

– Vall d'en Bas
Vall d'en Bas is a geographically and aesthetically remarkable area. Surrounding the meadows and forests of beech, oak, and oak trees are mountains, ridges, and cliffs like Cabrera dels Llancers, Freixaneda, and Puigsacalm. The plain of en Bas, one of the most fertile soils in Catalonia, is crossed by streams and rivers that flow into the Fluvià River.

Vall d'en Bas is also rich in history and was once a land of peasant uprisings. The municipality still preserves the farmhouse where the leader of the peasants, Francesc de Verntallat, was born. Additionally, Vall d'en Bas is home to two historical-artistic ensembles: Vila del Mallol, located on a hill and serving as the administrative capital of the County of Bas for centuries, and the nucleus of Hostalets d'en Bas, which originated from hostels located at the foot of the ancient royal road from Olot to Vic.

– Vall de Llémena
Vall de Llémena is one of the most beautiful valleys in the province. It is an untouched natural environment dotted with majestic country houses and close to the city of Girona. In this valley, formed by the Llémena River, you will find picturesque villages such as Sant Martí and Sant Aniol de Finestres, country houses and fortified houses, Romanesque hermitages and sanctuaries like Santa Afra, caves, and natural pools.

– EASY WALK IN VALL DE LLEMENA RIVER VALLEY
Enjoy a pleasant 4 km (1 hour) walk with minimal incline along the banks of the Llémena River. Immerse yourself in the unique landscape with emblematic views of Rocacorba and the imposing Barroca mountain range.

– HOMEMADE LUNCH AT A POPULAR RESTAURANT (optional)
For lunch, you have two options: bring your own (sandwich or packed lunch) or dine with the group at El Cabrit, a popular restaurant in Sant Esteve de Llémena (menu: 35 euros).
