1- Embark on a beautiful and easy hike from Viladrau to the "Castanyer de les nou branques". This circular hike offers stunning views of the iconic Montseny mountains and takes you through chestnut trees, oaks, and holm oaks.

2- Explore Viladrau, a charming town located in the heart of the natural park. Viladrau was a favorite destination of the Barcelona bourgeoisie in the early 20th century and is known for having the best chestnuts in Catalonia.

3- Visit Espinelves, a picturesque village famous for its Christmas tree fair, and take a leisurely walk through its impressive Arboretum, which boasts the largest concentration of monumental trees in Catalonia. The Arboretum tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

EVENT ITINERARY:

• 8:00 AM: Meet at Plaza Universitat - the main entrance of UB - to board our private coach. Stop for breakfast during the journey.
• 10:30-11:00 AM: Arrival in Espinelves and guided walk through the village.
• 11:00 AM-12:00 PM: Walking tour of the Arboretum, the largest concentration of monumental trees in Catalonia.
• 12:00-12:30 PM: Coach transfer to Viladrau.
• 12:30-2:00 PM: Guided walk through the village and its fountains.
• 2:00-4:00 PM: Free time for lunch (we recommend booking at the modernist hostel Can Bofill -938849012-).
• 4:00-6:00 PM: Circular hike to the "Castanyer de les nou branques" and introduction to the fascinating world of mushrooms.
• 6:00 PM: Return coach journey, arriving in Barcelona between 7:30-8:00 PM.
