🤝 What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for 'Gyeonggi Language EXchange', is the largest language exchange Meetup in Gyeonggi Province, boasting over 3,600 members since its inception in 2015. We offer a complimentary language exchange program called 'GLEXathon' where Koreans and foreigners can practice languages together. Whether you want to improve your skills in Korean, English, Chinese, or explore other languages, we invite you to register and join us!

⏰ Meetup Schedule:
Every Wednesday - First session from 7 PM to 9:30 PM / Second session from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏 Venue Details:
The first session is held at '2morrow Cafe', and the second session takes place at 'Free Style' Pub. '2morrow Cafe' is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, situated in front of the Lotte Cinema Central Rock building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸 Participation Fee:
There are no fees to join! However, we kindly ask that each attendee orders at least one beverage during the event.

✌ Optional Second Session:
For those who wish to continue the night, we gather at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. This is a relaxed environment where you can enjoy some drinks, play darts or pocket games with friends.

✅ How to Join GLEX (Mandatory Steps):
Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account, please create one.
Step 2: On the GLEX Meetup page, select the date you want to attend and click the RSVP button. We look forward to seeing those genuinely interested in attending.
Step 3: Send a message to the organizer with your name, Meetup account name, and contact number. Text 010-8900-0579 (for English inquiries) or contact via KakaoTalk at ID: yologlex. This is essential for identification.
Step 4: Arrive with a positive mindset and let the organizer know who you are. It’s perfectly fine if you arrive a bit late.

• If you are even slightly interested in attending, please register.
• Cancellations can be made anytime through the site or by contacting the organizer.
• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
• No penalties for not showing up after registering, but please avoid making it a habit.
• It’s better to RSVP and skip than to show up without prior registration (unregistered attendees will not be allowed).
