🤝 What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for 'Gyeonggi Language Exchange', has become the largest language exchange Meetup in Gyeonggi Province, boasting over 3,600 members since its inception in 2015. We offer a FREE language exchange program known as 'GLEXathon', where Korean and foreign participants can come together. If you’re looking to enhance your skills in Korean, Chinese, English, or are simply curious about other languages, don’t hesitate to register!

⏰ Meetup Schedule:
Every Wednesday - The first session runs from 7 PM to 9:30 PM, followed by the second session from 9:30 PM onwards.

🌏 Location:
The first session is hosted at '2morrow Cafe', while the second session takes place at 'Free Style' Pub. '2morrow Cafe' is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, right in front of the Lotte Cinema Central Rock building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸 Cost:
Participation is completely FREE! However, we kindly ask that each attendee orders at least one drink during the meetup.

✌ Optional Second Session:
If you're interested, join us for the after-meetup gathering at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the former 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with friends and engage in games like darts or simply unwind with a drink.

✅ How to Participate (Mandatory):
STEP 1: If you don’t have a Meetup account, please sign up on our Meetup site.
STEP 2: Navigate to the GLEX Meetup page and select the date you wish to attend, clicking the RSVP button to confirm your participation. We welcome only those who are genuinely interested in attending.
STEP 3: Send a message with your full name, Meetup account name, and contact number to the organizer at 010-8900-0579 or via KakaoTalk to ID: yologlex. This information is crucial for verifying your identity to ensure a smooth experience for all members.
STEP 4: Arrive with a positive mindset and inform the organizer of your presence. Feel free to arrive a little late if necessary.

• If you have even the slightest intention to attend, please register.
• You can cancel your RSVP anytime via our site (or by contacting an organizer).
• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
• While there’s no penalty for failing to attend after RSVPing, we encourage consistent attendance.
• It’s always better to RSVP and miss the event than to arrive without registering (unregistered attendance is not permitted).
