🤝What is GLEX?

GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,500 members since its establishment in 2015. We operate the free language exchange program called "GLEXathon" for Koreans and foreigners who want to practice Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. If you're interested in language exchange, don't hesitate to join us!

⏰Meetup Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Meetup Place:

1st round at "Tomorrow Cafe" / 2nd round at "Freestyle" Pub. "Tomorrow Cafe" is located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jungang Station, in front of the "Lotte Cinema Central Rock" building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

Membership and attendance are completely free. However, attendees are required to order at least one beverage at the venue.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

For those who want to continue the gathering, join us at "Freestyle" Pub, located in the basement of the "Dalcomm Coffee" building. It's a casual place to enjoy pocket ball, darts, beer, and have a good time with friends. Feel free to join and enjoy!

✅How to Join GLEX Meetup (Mandatory)

Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account, please sign up on the Meetup website.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button to register your attendance. We look forward to participants who are genuinely interested in joining.

Step 3: Please provide your name, Meetup account name, and contact information to the organizer. Send a confirmation message to 010-8900-0579 (English speaker) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex (Name and contact information are required for identification purposes).

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive mindset and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay to arrive a little late.

• If you have any intention of attending, please sign up.
• You can cancel your RSVP through the website or by contacting the organizer.
• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.
• While there is no penalty for not attending after RSVPing, please avoid repeated absences.
• It's better to RSVP and not attend than to attend without RSVPing (Attendance without registration is prohibited).
