🤝What is GLEX?

'GLEX' stands for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,500 members since its establishment in 2015. We operate the 'GLEXathon' language exchange program for Koreans and foreigners who want to practice Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. Don't hesitate to join if you are interested!

⏰Meetup Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Meetup Place:

1st round at 'Tomorrow Cafe' / 2nd round at 'Freestyle' Pub.

'Tomorrow Cafe' is located about a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, right in front of the Lotte Cinema Central Rock building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

There is no cost to attend the meetup, but each participant must order at least one beverage.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

If you want to continue the fun, join us for the after-meetup gathering at 'Freestyle' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. You can enjoy pocket, darts, beer, and hang out with friends at your own leisure.

✅How to Join GLEX Meetup (Mandatory):

Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account, please sign up on the Meetup site.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button to register. Please only register if you genuinely plan to attend.

Step 3: Contact the organizer with your name, Meetup account name, and contact information. Send a message to 010-8900-0579 (for English) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. This is necessary for identity verification.

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay if you arrive a little late.

• If you have even the slightest desire to attend, please RSVP.
• You can cancel your RSVP through the site or by contacting an organizer.
• The deadline for RSVP is 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.
• While there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please refrain from repeated absences.
• It's better to RSVP and not show up than to attend without RSVPing (attendance without registration is prohibited).
