GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. Our mission is to provide a free language exchange program for Koreans and non-Koreans interested in practicing Korean, English, Chinese, and other languages. Don't hesitate, join us now!

Event Details:

Time: Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

Location: 1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' / 2nd round at 'Free Style' Pub

'Cafe Grovy' is located a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

Cost: Free to attend. Please order at least one beverage.

Attendees at 'Cafe Grovy' receive a 10% discount on their drink orders by mentioning they are GLEX members.

Optional Second Round:

Join us at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building for a casual get-together with pocket, darts, and beer.

How to Join:

Step 1: Sign up for a Meetup account if you don't have one.

Step 2: Visit the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button for the date you want to attend.

Step 3: Send your name, Meetup account name, and contact details to the organizer via text message at 010-8900-0579 or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex.

Step 4: Arrive with a positive attitude and let the organizer know who you are.

• Please RSVP if you think you might attend.

• You can cancel your RSVP through the site or by contacting an organizer.

• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the event.

• While there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please be considerate to others.

• RSVPing is preferred over showing up without registering.
