🤝What is GLEX?

'GLEX', short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We offer a free language exchange program called 'GLEXathon' for Koreans and foreigners who want to practice Korean, Chinese, English, and other languages. If you're interested in language learning and meeting new people, don't hesitate to join us!

⏰Event Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Event Venue:

1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' / 2nd round at 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy' is located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

There is no cost to join the meetup. However, attendees are required to order at least one beverage. Members attending the 1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' can enjoy a 10% discount on their drinks by mentioning they are a 'GLEX member' when ordering.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

If you'd like to continue the fun, join us for the after-meetup gathering at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Enjoy pocket, darts, beer, and a casual hangout with friends. Feel free to join and use the facilities as you please.

✅How to Attend:

Step 1: If you don't have a meetup account, sign up on the meetup site.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX meetup site and click the RSVP button to register your attendance. We look forward to the participation of those genuinely interested in attending.

Step 3: Contact the organizer with your name, meetup account name, and contact information. Please send this information to 010-8900-0579 (English) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex. This information is necessary for verification purposes.

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay to be a little late.

• If you have even the slightest intention to attend, please register.

• You can cancel your RSVP through the site or by contacting the organizer.

• RSVPs are accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.

• While there is no penalty for not showing up, please avoid repeated absences.

• It's better to RSVP and not show up than to show up without RSVPing (Attending without registering is not allowed).
