🤝What is GLEX?

'GLEX' stands for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, the biggest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province with over 3,400 members since 2015. We operate a free language exchange program called "GLEXathon" for Koreans and foreigners who want to practice Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. If you're interested in language learning and meeting new people, don't hesitate to join us!

⏰Event Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round starts from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round starts from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Event Venue:

1st round is held at 'Cafe Grovy' / 2nd round is held at 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy' is located about a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:

Attendance is completely FREE. However, each attendee is required to order at least one beverage. At 'Cafe Grovy', GLEX members can enjoy a 10% discount on beverages by mentioning "GLEX member" when ordering.

✌2nd Round (Optional):

If you want to continue the meetup, join us at the 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. It's a casual place where you can relax with friends and enjoy pocket, darts, and beer.

✅How to Join GLEX Meetup (Mandatory)

Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account, please sign up on the Meetup site.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button to register. We look forward to the attendance of those who are sincerely interested.

Step 3: Please provide your name, Meetup account name, and contact information to the organizer. Send a message to 010-8900-0579 (English) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex for confirmation (Name and contact information are necessary for identity verification).

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay to be a little late.

• If you have any thoughts of attending, please RSVP.

• You can cancel your RSVP through the site at any time (or contact the organizer).

• RSVP is accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.

• Although there are no penalties for not attending after RSVP, please avoid continuous absence.

• It is better to RSVP and not attend than to attend without RSVP (Attending without registration is prohibited).
