🤝What is GLEX?

'GLEX' stands for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We offer a free language exchange program called 'GLEXathon' for Koreans and non-Koreans who want to practice Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. If you're interested in language exchange, don't hesitate to join us!

⏰Meetup Time:

Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Meetup Place:

1st round at 'Cafe Grovy', located about a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

2nd round at 'Free Style' Pub, located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building.

💸Cost:

Membership and participation are completely free. However, attendees are required to order at least one beverage at the venue.

Members at 'Cafe Grovy' can enjoy a 10% discount on beverages by mentioning "GLEX member" when ordering.

✌The Second Round (Optional):

Join us for an after-meetup gathering at 'Free Style' Pub in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Feel free to hang out with friends and enjoy pocket, darts, and beer.

✅How to Join GLEX Meetup (Required):

Step 1: Sign up for an account on our Meetup site.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button to register. Please only register if you are genuinely planning to attend.

Step 3: Send a message to the organizer with your name, Meetup account name, and contact information (010-8900-0579 for English speakers or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex). This information is necessary for verification purposes.

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and introduce yourself to the organizer. It's okay if you're a little late.

• If you have any intention of attending, please RSVP.
• You can cancel your RSVP through our site or by contacting an organizer.
• Registration for attendance is open until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.
• While there is no penalty for not showing up after RSVPing, please avoid repeatedly not attending.
• It's better to RSVP and not show up than to attend without RSVPing (attendance without registration is prohibited).
