🤝What is GLEX?
GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language Exchange, is the largest language exchange meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,400 members since its establishment in 2015. We organize the free 'GLEXathon' language exchange program for Koreans and foreigners who are interested in practicing Korean, Chinese, English, or any other language. Don't hesitate to join us if you want to improve your language skills and meet new people!

⏰Event Time:
Every Wednesday - 1st round from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM / 2nd round from 9:30 PM onwards

🌏Event Venue:
1st round: 'Cafe Grovy' / 2nd round: 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy' is located about a 5-minute walk from exit 1 of Jungang Station, behind the Paris Baguette building in downtown Jungang-dong.

💸Cost:
There is no cost to attend, but each participant is required to order at least one beverage.

Participants of the 1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' are eligible for a 10% discount on drinks and coffee. Please mention that you are a 'GLEX member' when ordering.

✌2nd round (optional):
For those who want to continue socializing after the meetup, join us at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Enjoy pocket, darts, beer, and have a great time with friends. Feel free to drop by!

✅How to Join GLEX Meetup (mandatory)

Step 1: If you don't have a Meetup account, please sign up on the Meetup website.

Step 2: Choose the date you want to attend on the GLEX Meetup page and click the RSVP button to register. We look forward to welcoming those who are sincerely interested in joining.

Step 3: Please send the organizer the following details: [Name, Meetup account name, Contact number]. Please send a message to 010-8900-0579 (English) or KakaoTalk ID: yologlex for confirmation (We need your name and contact information for verification purposes).

Step 4: Attend the meetup with a positive attitude and let the organizer know who you are. Feel free to arrive even if you're a little late.

• If you have any intention of attending, please sign up.
• You can cancel your RSVP through the website at any time (or contact the organizer).
• RSVPs will be accepted until 6:30 PM on the day of the meetup.
• While there is no penalty for not attending after RSVPing, please refrain from being a habitually absent member.
• It is better to RSVP and not attend than to attend without RSVPing (Attending without registering is strictly prohibited).

⏰MEETUP TIME:

The 1st round is at 'Cafe Grovy' / the 2nd round is at 'Free Style' Pub. 'Cafe Grovy', which is located in the building behind the Paris Baguette Building in downtown Jungang-dong, is about a 5-minute walk from exit number 1 of Jungang Station.

💸COST:
There is absolutely NO COST to join. Of course, you should pay for any food or drinks that you might want to have at the venue. Every attending member is required to order at least one beverage.

All of our members at 'Cafe Grovy' qualify for a special 10% discount, so make sure to let the clerk know that you're an exclusive GLEX Meetup member ("글렉스 멤버입니다").

✌THE (OPTIONAL) SECOND ROUND:
Feel free to join us for our after-meetup gathering at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Attendees are not obligated to do or pay for anything.

✅REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN (MANDATORY):

STEP 1: Please sign up for an account on our Meetup site if you don't already have one.

STEP 2: To register that you will attend, please click the RSVP registration button on the GLEX Meetup page for the day that you would like to attend. Please do not register to attend if you are not serious about attending.

STEP 3: Send a message including your real name and Meetup account name along with contact number to the organizer by text message to 010-8900-0579 or by KakaoTalk to ID: yologlex. (Your name and number help us identify who you are for the sake of our other members.)

STEP 4: Show up with a positive attitude and let the organizer know who you are. Being a little late is no problem at all.

• Registrations to attend can be made until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
