Join us for an unforgettable adventure as we dive into the breathtaking landscapes of the National Park featuring the majestic Iztaccihuatl and Popocatépetl volcanoes! Iztaccihuatl, standing at 5,230 meters, is a dormant volcano famously resembling a sleeping woman, while Popocatépetl, soaring to 5,426 meters, is Mexico's second-highest peak and remains active. Located just 2.5 hours from Mexico City in the scenic State of Mexico, this trip is a must for nature lovers!

Our hike is designed to be enjoyable for all skill levels. We will ascend from 3,800 meters to approximately 4,200 meters, allowing ample time for acclimatization. You can tailor your experience to your comfort level—whether you prefer to soak in the stunning views and fresh air or challenge yourself with an optional hike towards Iztaccihuatl.

During our journey, we will also explore the historic Paso de Cortés. This significant pass is named after Hernán Cortés, who, in 1519, traversed it with his troops after the devastating battle of Cholula, making his way to Tenochtitlán to confront the Aztecs and their emperor, Moctezuma. Legend has it that some of Cortés’ men climbed Popocatépetl, lowered themselves into its crater, and gathered sulfur to create gunpowder.
