Join us for an unforgettable day trip to explore the breathtaking Iztaccihuatl National Park, home to the majestic dormant volcano Iztaccihuatl, which rises to 5,230 meters and resembles a sleeping woman, as well as the active Popocatépetl, standing at 5,426 meters. Located just 2.5 hours from Mexico City in the State of Mexico, this adventure promises stunning landscapes and unique geological features.

This excursion is perfect for all fitness levels! We will ascend to altitudes ranging from 3,900 to 4,200 meters, allowing ample time for acclimatization. You can tailor your experience to your liking—whether that means soaking in the beautiful views, breathing in the fresh mountain air, or opting for a challenging hike towards the Iztaccihuatl volcano.

Our route includes a visit to the historic Paso de Cortes. This significant pass was traversed by Hernán Cortés and his troops in 1519 following the tragic events at Cholula. It is rumored that some of Cortés' men climbed Popocatépetl to collect sulfur for gunpowder during their journey to confront the Aztecs and their emperor, Moctezuma.

The cost for this adventure is 1,650 Mexican Pesos, which includes private group transportation, a skilled driver, a knowledgeable coordinator, Spanish-language explanations, and entry to the National Park.
