Join us for an unforgettable adventure at the breathtaking Teotihuacán archaeological site on Saturday, November 9, 2024! Our journey begins at 7:30 AM and concludes around 3:00 PM, with convenient transportation provided from Mexico City, including your entrance fee and a certified guide for a memorable walking tour. We prioritize an early start to help you avoid crowds and the midday heat.
Typically, our departure point is Angel de la Independencia along Reforma, but we can also arrange pickups from Narvarte, Condesa, Coyoacan, or Centro. Please inquire about availability for these options.
This comprehensive tour covers both the iconic and lesser-known treasures of Teotihuacán. You'll explore the majestic Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the intricate Feathered Serpent Pyramid, along with its stunning palaces and murals. With a well-planned itinerary and a knowledgeable certified guide, we ensure a seamless experience without unnecessary stops at souvenir shops. Our small group sizes allow for a personalized experience in both English and Spanish. Private tours are also available—just ask for a quote!
Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Teotihuacán is home to the most architecturally significant pyramids in pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. At its peak in the early 1st millennium AD, it was the largest city in the Americas, boasting an estimated population of over 125,000, making it one of the largest cities globally during its time.
The city is believed to have been founded around 100 BC, with major construction ongoing until approximately 250 AD. Teotihuacán experienced decline between the 7th and 8th centuries AD, and many of its significant structures were systematically destroyed around 550 AD.
To secure your spot, payment must be made in advance. You can conveniently pay in cash at any 7 Eleven store or make a cash deposit at any Banamex bank branch. For international payments, we also accept transfers via Wise.
