BURROLANDIA
Discover the Burrolandia sanctuary, a unique haven dedicated to protecting the endangered Mexican donkey. Founded in 2006, this sanctuary provides a home for approximately 50 donkeys that have been rescued from mistreatment or abandonment. Learn about the history of donkeys in the Americas, the reasons behind their endangerment, their dietary habits, and their lifespan of 25 to 40 years. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to feed these gentle creatures and show them some love. The sanctuary prioritizes the well-being and dignity of the donkeys, ensuring a meaningful and respectful experience for visitors.

OTUMBA
After visiting Burrolandia, we'll explore the enchanting colonial town of Otumba. Immerse yourself in the past as you wander through the town's cobblestone streets, admire the vibrant buildings, and soak up the historic atmosphere of the central plaza. Don't miss the bustling traditional market, where you can sample local delicacies. Marvel at the 16th-century church and delve into its captivating history. Take in stunning panoramic views of the picturesque countryside and majestic mountains that surround Otumba. With its warm locals and abundant cultural treasures, Otumba promises an unforgettable experience for couples, families, and friends seeking a unique excursion from Mexico City.

AQUEDUCT OF PADRE TEMBLEQUE
Our journey continues to the awe-inspiring Aqueduct of Padre Tembleque. This architectural marvel, constructed in the 16th century, was designed to supply water to the city of Otumba. Marvel at the 39-mile-long sandstone aqueduct, featuring 68 arches reaching heights of up to 75 feet. What makes this aqueduct truly remarkable is that it was built without mortar, showcasing incredible engineering ingenuity. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this is a rare opportunity to walk alongside the towering arches and appreciate the remarkable craftsmanship of the past.
