The park's name, Los Dinamos, originates from the time of the Porfiriato, a period of 35 years when General Porfirio Díaz ruled Mexico, eventually leading to the Mexican Revolution. During this time, electric power plants were constructed, utilizing the force of the Magdalena River's waters to supply textile factories in the current Magdalena Contreras delegation. Today, Los Dinamos remains an incredible oasis within Mexico City, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling crowds and a chance to immerse yourself in nature's wonders.
