Hi there! My name is Wout and I'm a Dutch Belgium who lives in a small village in the countryside of Flanders. I'm already obsessed with languages since I was a child. When I was 9 years old, I started to learn my first language, French because of school. I needn't learn English, because I watched TV very often those days ;) . But "officially", I learnt it at school when I was 13, however, I could already speak it fluently then. One year later, when I turned 14, I wanted to prepare myself for the German lessons at school. By the time I got my first lesson German at school, I could already speak it at a decent level and that made it easier for me to get higher grades to compensate my grades for math ;) . In Belgium, you have to be able to speak English, Dutch, French and German. While I was learning German at school, I started to get in love with the Scandinavian languages and tried to learn Norwegian. However, because of too much homework, I needed to stop learning it. After that period, I decided not to start over again, but learn Swedish instead. And surprisingly, I still remembered some things from Norwegian, which made it easier to learn Swedish. My pronounciation of English, French and German was quite good, but I kept struggling with the prounciation of Swedish. I'm still tended to pronounce it more Germanish.
